Meet the Founder

Joy McCullough, ACMHC, is a Licensed Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma, grief, attachment wounds, anxiety, relational pain, and abuse recovery.

She integrates evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is body centered to help clients better understand their internal world, process past experiences, and build healthier patterns and boundaries.

With a background in victim advocacy, Joy brings a compassionate, trauma-informed, and relational approach, creating a careful space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported in their growth.

Life inevitably brings pain, and each of us develops ways of coping in order to survive it. Over time, those patterns can either support or hinder our ability to move forward. Joy believes healing begins as we gently explore these patterns and create space for new, more life-giving ways of being that lead to resilience, clarity and wholeness.
